              When you sense or feel a negative mood this week emanating from someone, try this useful technique to understand what’s going on with them — before you blame yourself. First, get yourself out of your own way. Discard the thoughts relating to what you’re perceiving or feeling. Relax, close your eyes, and breathe. Try to imagine that you’re stepping into their shoes and becoming that person. Feel what they’re feeling. See if you now have a better understanding of what’s really happening and how you could possibly help.
